- second ticket in case of visit to collections and temporary exhibitions in the same museum and on the same day
Admission is free for:
- visitors 18 or younger
- participants in extraordinary cultural mediation courses in the form of a visit
- high school students
- university students with ID card
- two chaperons per school group
- 1 chaperon for groups of 10 or more
- 1 chaperon for minor participating in museum workshops
- persons with disabilities and EU Disability Card holders and their helper
- ICOM members
- licensed tour guides
- licensed journalists
- certain partner organizations and associations
- subjects listed in Article 4 paragraph 3 letter a, b, d, e, f, g, h, i - Decree n. 507 of 11/12/1997, and subsequent amendments (including students and teachers of the Conservatory and other equivalent institutions listed under letter h)
- pre-school and nursery school teachers, educators, pedagogists and collaborators of the Municipality of Bologna
- Card Cultura and Bologna Welcome Card holders

Bologna Welcome Card is the tourist card that allows you to discover the best of the city. Two versions are available: Bologna Welcome Card EASY (€ 25) and Bologna Welcome Card PLUS (€ 40). The card is nominal and is valid only for 1 person. It is activated on first use and expires when all the services included are spent and in any case after one year from the activation date. The card can be purchased online or at tourist information and reception points.
