As of Friday 6th August, following the entry into force of Decree Law 105/2021, access to museums, libraries and temporary exhibitions in the premises of Istituzione Bologna Musei is subject to submitting a Covid-19 green certificate, the so-called green pass. The certification is verified by showing the green pass. To protect privacy, the holder's personal data is only read out via the national VerificationC19 app, but not recorded. The green pass is not required for people under the age of twelve or exempt from the vaccination campaign. For access to libraries, the requirement to hold a green pass does not apply for the sole case of returning library materials.
