Accessibility mapping

In collaboration with professionals and experts from the associations and bodies that deal with motor, sensory and cognitive disabilities in Bologna, the municipal administration - in collaboration with the Bologna Museums institution - has promoted some inspections to "test" the accessibility conditions of the city museums.

Following the inspections, a "Museum accessibility mapping" was created to collect, structure and share information on the accessibility of our offices.

In particular, three fact sheets are online for the Industrial Heritage Museum which describe in detail the type of disability (motor, hearing and visual) of the accessibility and usability conditions of the individual collections and museum spaces: a unique and updated information system available to visitors and tourists with temporary or permanent disabilities.

You can consult and download the data sheets relating to the Museum of Industrial Heritage in the right column of this page.
