Bronze sextant of Rome

This specimen belongs to the roman coins series in cast bronze; on the obverse is imprinted the image of the shell outer side, flanked by two globes - the sign of value - indicating that this nominal
is a sextant.

On the reverse there is the same representation, but the shell is depicted by the inside. Below it, on both sides, there is a small club, which indicates a specific coin series. This coins were made from Rome's mint between 230 and 226 BC.
