This large mask was destined to a mummy, which had to protect the head, in addition to reproduce the ideal features of the deceased face.
The elements that make it up are the essential ones: a wig divided into three bands, to facilitate the joint on his shoulders, and a usekh breastplate, made up of many rows of overlapping pendants, that frame the face.
