Archaeological Museum of Bologna

Completely restructured in 1982, the space dedicated to temporary exhibitions comprises a series of large rooms that have hosted some of the most important exhibitions in the city and the museum.

It is worth recalling the exhibitions dedicated to the masters of Bolognese painting (1998: Guido Reni; 1991: Guercino; 1993: I Carracci; 2005: Elisabetta Sirani; 2006-07: Annibale Carracci), archaeology (1990: Il senso dell'Arte nell'Antico Egitto; 2000-2001: Principi Etruschi tra Mediterraneo ed Europa), and world cultures (1992: Prima dell'America; 2002: Africa Nera. Arte e cultura).

In line with the Tariffs Programme of the Istituzione Bologna Musei, which allows for the hiring of museum rooms and spaces, the exhibitions rooms of the Archaeological Museum may also be hired by private individuals and/or bodies and associations.
