Educational Service / Group visits

For organizational reasons and to offer a better service to the public, please note that you have to book all group visits, even those carried out without the help of the educational service of the Museum.

E 'can take advantage of the educational services of the museum for guided tours led by archaeologists, who aim to provide a high quality product, developed by specialists in the field, which is not a "tourist trip", but an approach to a particular civilization or a given theme through the exhibits of the museum.
It is to be carried out routes within individual sections of the museum, or paths in order to explain cross-cutting themes (the city's history, the history of some ancient techniques, etc..).
The tours are conducted by the operators of ASTER (Archaeology, History and Land Ltd)

Guided tours: € 110.00; duration 1 hour and 15 minutes
Guided tours in different languages ​​(English and French): € 120.00; duration 1 hour and 15 minutes
RULES 'OF RESERVATION OF GUIDED TOURS
Reservations can be made ​​through the online system at Sophia2000 www.soophia2000.it, selecting ACTIVITY 'extracurricular and specifying the required path in the notes field, or by phone at 02-20404175 (Mon-Fri, 9.30 to 13 / 15-17).
RULES 'OF RESERVATION OF VISITS IN AUTONOMY
Reservations can be made ​​through the online system at Sophia2000 www.sophia2000.it, by selecting the range that you want to visit to make, or by phone at 02-20404175 (Mon-Fri, 9.30 to 13/15 - 17).

Due to an important fire prevention regulatory adjustment the Archaeological Museum of Bologna will remain partially closed to the public from June 2021 until spring 2022.

Therefore, from June 2021 it is no longer possible to visit the collections on the first floor: Prehistoric, Etruscan, Gallic and Roman sections, and Etrusco-italic, Greek, Roman and Plaster Cast collections.
The Lapidarium on the ground floor and the rich Egyptian collection in the basement remain accessible to the public.

 

SIMPLE GROUP ENTRANCE (Non-guided Visit)

Reservations are required for all group visits. There is no booking fee and the reservation is considered valid only after receiving a confirmation.

Reservations of non-guided visits can be made online http://didatticabo.midaticket.it, selecting field "VISITA IN AUTONOMIA" and specifying the required section or itinerary in the field "NOTE", or by phone 0039 051 2757244 (THU, from 9AM to 1PM and TUE from 1PM to 5PM).

Please note that the group should consist of a maximum of 25 people (includig your tour guide, if present)

 

GUIDED VISITS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS

The Archaeological Museum of Bologna  offers to visitors of every age group the possibility to benefit from guided visits addressed both to individuals and groups. It is possible to book a customized guided visit (provided in English or French)
